1. Do I need to buy a Florida fishing license when I fish from the Hog Wild? No - Capt. Ron has purchased the fishing permits and licenses that cover everyone who fishes from the Hog Wild. 2. What do I need to bring when I go fishing on the Hog Wild? The Hog Wild provides all tackle, bait and ice for your fish. You will want to bring what you would like to eat and drink for the day, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, camera and film. Remember to dress comfortably and try to avoid shoes with black soles. Please keep ice chests small and try to limit the number of coolers. Please leave coolers for your fish in your vehicle until the trip is over. 3. Is a tip required for the deckhand? Is the tip included in the price of the trip? The recommended tip for the deckhand is 15-20% of the charter price. The tip amount is not included in the charter price. 4. Do I need to tip the Captain? It is not customary to tip the Captain. If you feel the Captain did a particularly great job, tips are always appreciated. 5. Is fish cleaning available? Yes - Fish cleaning is available at the dock. The service is free and your deckhand will clean, filet and bag your fish, ready for cooking or freezing. 6. What do I do if I'm prone to motion sickness? Capt. Ron recommends that you take motion sickness medication the night before the trip and again the morning of the trip, then eat a light breakfast. If you do think you are getting sea sick while on the boat, remember that the best place to go is outside in the fresh air. 7. Is it ok to bring children on the Hog Wild? Absolutely, we love children on board the Hog Wild. Please remember that young children get bored easily and their safety and behaviors are the parents responsibility. 8. Is it ok to bring my handheld GPS unit onboard the Hog Wild? No - The use of a GPS unit on board the Hog Wild will result in an immediate cancellation of the charter with no refund. |
