About The Captain

Captain Ron was born and raised fishing the in the waters of the Northern Gulf of Mexico.  He has extensive experience in all types of offshore fishing, ranging from bottom fishing to offshore trolling.  

Captain Ron's fishing expeditions have taken him from his home port of Pensacola Beach, Fl to destinations all over the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean.  Whether fishing for gigantic Yellowfin tuna off South Pass Louisiana, trolling for Marlin in the Florida Keys or reef fishing off the coast of South America, Captain Ron has a unique ability for always finding the big ones!

Around the local area, Captain Ron has built a reputation as one finest charter boat captains to fish the Gulf of Mexico.  His unequaled library of "private" fishing spots coupled with a sincere desire to please every fisherman aboard the Hog Wild has earned him this respect.

The Hog Wild is a brand new 43' custom Torres Twin Diesel Sportfisherman.  The Hog Wild is fast and  comfortable with a large air-conditioned cabin, full facilities and the latest electronics and equipment.  Outfitted with twin 500 HP Lugger diesel engines the Hog Wild is one awesome fishing machine!

Whether your looking to troll for Marlin, Tuna or Wahoo in the cobalt waters of the DeSoto Canyon or wreck fishing for the delicious Red Snapper or hard fighting grouper the Hog Wild is sure to take you there in comfort and style.

The Hog Wild is home ported at the Beach Marina Ships Store Restaurant Complex located on beautiful Pensacola Beach, FL.  The Beach Marina is just a short distance from some of the hottest fishing spots and biggest fish in the Gulf of Mexico.  Lively entertainment and comfortable lodging are located within walking distance of the restaurant for the convenience of our out of town guests.
